My history with bullies

Twinsies

Hey there my little ones.
I have had such a lovely day so I thought I would use some of my positive energy in a blog for you all.

Unfortunately growing up (and as adults) we have to deal with specific people being continuously and purposely mean. This was no different for me. One thing bullies like to do is focus on something that makes you different. And I can honestly remember so many instances in which people insulted me about my difference...

With me it's my lips. They are pretty big.

It started pretty early for me.

When I was three years old, my mother picked me up from preschool one day and I said to her "Mummy, can you cut my wips off?"

When I was in year 1 or 2, when the spice girls were huge, I was in the playground with my friends and we were acting them out. I ALWAYS wanted to be baby spice. One other girl also wanted to be baby spice. So she said to me "BUT BABY SPICE DOESN'T HAVE BIG LIPS!!"

Having a fight with a girl in year 5 or so...she said "at least I don't have to use a whole tube of lip gloss everytime I want to wear it".

Then high school happened....

I was given the delightful nickname Mick Jagger.
And boy did it get to me. Every fucking day these dickheads would say something. A whole group of boys and girls alike who found it thoroughly entertaining to make my day hell.

There was one time my brother used it as a way to get to me. And I think the absolute devastation and betrayal I felt hurt him enough to never attempt it again ahah.

I am not going to pretend that I was a perfect angel. I did my fair share of teasing.
And I really hope those people didn't feel as shit as I did.
In primary school I would do it because I thought it would make my friends laugh. Which is the worst reason...

If any of the people I hurt are reading this. I am really sorry. I know it was such a lousy thing to do. And it definitely didn't make me cool. I would punish my kids so badly for acting like I did, or those dickheads that I dealt with.

So this year I went to the rolling stones concert. Wore my rolling stones shirt and my big lips and danced along with mick with great pride.

And just so all you ass holes are aware...they make me a good kisser ;)

xx
Sar.
