The start of my weight loss journey



I had to have a good think about whether or not I was going to write this blog. I can usually guess which ones that I write will be popular. This isn't really a funny post so it probably won't be up there on the popularity scale. But then I thought, umm it's my blog. I can write whatever I want :) So here I am.

If you have been reading my blogs for a while, you might have read the blog about my love/hate relationship with fitness. Missed it? Click HERE. Basically I used to do lots of running etc when I was younger and I hated it. Unless of course I was winning a race haha. But yeh, overall, I hate it.

But recently I am starting to bulge in areas of my body that may be seen as unflattering. So I have decided to take charge of my diet and start to eat healthy. Also, if I post it on here it is official and I have to do it. I have been eating healthy for three days now. So I am still very early in the process.

Every now and then I will put a blog on here to let you all know how it's going. I am sure it will include disgusting low fat foods I have tried as well as times I would rather fake having a heart attack and get driven to hospital by an ambulance then continue my workout. But the point is I am trying.

I just hope it lasts longer this time. They say it takes 21 days to make a habit. So only... 18 days left before eating healthy will seem normal? Also they say it takes around 2 weeks to stop craving crappy foods? We shall see.

I think I am going to focus on my diet first before I add exercise. Do it all one step at a time. Otherwise it will become too much for me and I will give up like I normally do. Fingers crossed I will see some results!

Maybe this can inspire someone else to get motivated to be healthier. Let me know if it does. Byes xx
